Mot & Equipment Specialist

You will be working alongside an industry leading team to improve our sales capability with our Customers for Garage Equipment, MOT and tooling. Your position will be field based, visiting customers, working with new and our current customers for all types of garage equipment and tooling. Experience is preferred but not essential.

As an individual, you will ideally have had experience of working as a part of a team and be able to prove how you’ve had a positive impact on businesses you’ve worked for previously. The ideal candidate will relish the opportunity to develop further in this sector’s #1 sales team. Parts Advisor | ISN Europe

Responsible to: Parts Manager.

Location: National Distribution Centre, Ramsey .

Hours of Work: 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday 8:30 – 17:30 (60-minutes lunch break).

Purpose of the Post

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start out a career in logistics, dispatch and operations within a fast-paced workshop store environment.

We are looking to fill this role following an internal promotion and full training will be provided so no previous experience is necessary.

What matters is that you are enthusiastic, have a common sense approach to work and are polite with a good phone manner.

A determination to learn and understand the full range of equipment the company provides is a must.

Responsibilities

• ​Dealing directly with customers on the phone to problem solve and provide the correct guidance and spare parts

• Handle dispatch of all parts from the store

• Organise and maintain the store including managing inbound stock and spares

• Use Accounting software to handle customer records, orders and stock management

• Deal with external third party services relating to delivery

• Work alongside the service manager to field other inbound calls

Customer Service Advisor | Hofmann Megaplan

Responsible to: Service Manager.

Location: Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire.

Hours of Work: 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday 8:30 – 17:00 (30-minutes lunch break)

Our Service Co-Ordinators provide top-level customer service, not only to our clients but to our engineers, subcontractors, and colleagues.

They are outstanding communicators, who work as part of a dedicated customer service team to ensure all jobs are progressed in a prompt and timely manner, to match the premium Hofmann Megaplan garage equipment being supplied.

Purpose of the Post

To Schedule installations and service work for our engineers ensuring the parts are in stock
before arranging with customers.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide scheduling of installations and service work for engineer’s
• Liaising with our parts department to ensure parts are in stock before arranging service work
• Receiving inbound calls to diagnose faults with machines and arranging service work if required
• Making outbound calls to contact customers when installation/service work has been scheduled

Skills required

• Excellent telephone manner
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of Sage accounts (desired not essential)

Technical Service Co-Ordinator

Responsible to: Service Manager.

Salary: Salary negotiable dependent on experience.

This position would suit someone who has been an engineer/ technician but is now thinking of working in an office environment.
Our Service Co-Ordinators provide top-level customer service, not only to our clients but to our engineers, subcontractors, and colleagues. This position would suit someone with garage equipment knowledge.

We are looking for ambitious, dynamic and determined individuals to join the Hofmann Megaplan team to assist with the continued growth of our wheel alignment business.
 
Demonstrating and supporting the extensive range of CCD and 3D alignment systems, successful candidates will be working with both customers and resellers. you will need to be responsible for both commercial and technical aspects of the business.

Emissions Engineer (Garage Equipment) | Hofmann Megaplan 

Hofmann Megaplan are looking for an engineer to join our rapidly expanding operations in the UK.

The role will focus mainly on emissions testing equipment and so the ideal candidate should have experience in this area of garage equipment.

This exciting role will see you working closely with our ATL/MOT division on the supply, servicing and calibration of the latest emissions testing equipment.

With an enviable track record, both in the UK and across Europe, our vehicle gas analysers deliver petrol and diesel testing to the highest standards. Successful candidates will share this drive of quality in both the products they install and the service they offer on behalf of Hofmann Megaplan.

There will be a requirement to regularly visit our offices and National Distribution Centre based in Kimbolton (Cambridgeshire) and Ramsey (Cambridgeshire) respectively.

Exposure working with Brain Bee emissions testing systems is preferred but not essential.
